Someone Didn't Do Their Homework?
Over at Stubborn Facts, Pat and Tully extensively comb through the the latest study that professes to prove that the Bush Administration is politically persecuting Democrats with investigations. The study has some major flaws. I haven't read through the whole thing yet, but based on initial findings, this looks like hackery. The thing is, this whole thing started around allegations that a number of U.S. Attorneys were fired because of their failure to investigate Democrats. That story has legs, but this study looks to take things farther than they actually go.

I doubt the story will go on for more than a week, but if someone in the administration resigns or is fired (I doubt either will happen), then it could be yet another nail in Bush’s lame duck coffin.
Politics seems to be a lot like law: you throw a lot at the opposing forces, hoping that one of your points sticks.
