Alito Confirmed: Final Vote 58-42.
It's official. Samuel Alito has become our 11oth Associate Justice. 4 Dems (Byrd, Conrad, Johnson, Ben Nelson) crossed party lines to vote yes, and Lincoln Chafee voted no, as well as Jim Jeffords.
